Don't let the apparent shortness of Sea Scape Golf Links fool you. Built on one of the narrowest portions of the Outer Banks in Kitty Hawk, NC, the winds from either the ocean (three blocks east) or the sound, just under a mile west, make Sea Scape a challenge to negotiate. Carved out of maritime forests, Sea Scape features windswept dunes, sandy waste areas, and native grasses bordering immaculately kept greens and fairways. The par 70 course offers an unusual order of holes, with three par 5s to a par of 36 on the front nine and three par 3s to a par 34 on the back nine. There is no shortage of entertainment playing Sea Scape Golf Links. Don’t forget to visit the sister course, Kilmarlic, while you are on the Outer Banks.

Golfing on the Outer Banks, whether in Duck, Nags Head, Corolla, or Southern Shores, is a great complement to the other outstanding characteristics of an Outer Banks vacation. Wonderfully modern homes are available for rental (and purchase) both on the ocean and on the sounds. Tantalizing restaurants, fishing, boating, swimming, surfing, hang gliding, para-sailing, and just lazing around on the wide beach makes the Outer Banks a choice vacation destination for any family, young or old. Visiting Jockey Ridge, the largest sand dune east of the Mississippi, and the Wright Brothers National Memorial is a must while in Kitty Hawk, site of the first airplane flight in the US. And if you've forgotten to bring your golf clubs, they are available at the Sea Scape pro shop.
