Comments - This Rees Jones designed Country Club of Hilton Head meanders through lowcountry marshland and pine forests along the Intracoastal Waterway.  This Country Club of Hilton Head hosted US Open Qualifying and several amateur competitions. Sixteen holes have some water feature, and while the par 3 14th hole is exciting with a 140 yard carry over a pond, the signature 12th hole is not only set on the highest point on Hilton Head Island but is framed by the Intracoastal Waterway.  A stout par 5 hole that requires three good shots to the green that is guarded by a large tree, 4 bunkers, and a carry over a wetland area if you stray too far to the left of the approach area.

Located at the northern end of the main resort area of Hilton Head Island yet close to all that there is available, the Country Club of Hilton Head has been a favorite since it opened. To visit the sister course click Golden Bear at Indigo Run
