In 2006 the course will undergo some major renovations. From May through August, one set of 9 holes will be closed at a time during the renovation project. The new bunkers are already in place, but during the summer the greens and fairways will be re-seeded, contoured and re-built. Fees are reduced during this period to accommodate the golfer that will play 9 holes twice to make an eighteen hole round. In fact, the layout will reverse after the renovations such that the back nine will become the front nine, and visa-verse. During this period, a new 10,000 square foot clubhouse will be built. In all, Clarendon CC will emerge as a first-rate course that will become a must-play course for any golfer traveling the Santee area.
