Comments - An outstanding 27-hole layout featuring bent grass greens with winter seeding where the fairways drain exceptionally well. This means that the course is Green Year 'Round.  The course has tee-to-green concrete paths on all 27 holes. Electric carts with rain hoods are available, although walking is allowed at any time. The course is very well maintained and well-laid out, creating a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Recognized as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, the course winds through a pine forest serenely removed from the noise, traffic, and distractions of everyday life. Star Hill derives it's name from Indian Folklore which describes a meteor shower in the area - check out the meteor fragment in the clubhouse that was found on the course!  You would be hard pressed to find friendlier staff anywhere.  A wide variety of reasonably priced memberships are available. Star Hill has the facilities to accommodate vacationers and outings of any size.
