Pine Hollow Golf Club - Perhaps the best kept secret among all the courses in the Raleigh-Durham/Research Triangle Park. Near the state capitol, Raleigh, adjacent to Cary and the RTP, Pine Hollow is easily accessible from any Triangle area town. On you next visit or vacation to the Heart of Carolina, a round here will tax neither your time nor wallet.

Pine Hollow is a semi-private, year-round golf club that offers public play and membership opportunities.  Opened in 1968, the 18 holes challenge players of all skill levels through a natural flowing layout. Each hole has a unique personality. You can easily walk this peaceful Piedmont course lined with stately pines and dotted with strategic ponds.

Comments Noted golf architect Bob Moore [Nags Head Golf Course (NC Outer Banks), The Heritage (Raleigh), the new Chapel Ridge (Chapel Hill)] was engaged for the overhaul and redesign of Pine Hollow.  He retained the original classic feel of the course while adding features for which he has become known, such as the rock bulkhead on the 16th green.  The new greens and the accompanying complexes, demand for thoughtful shot-making, and compact nature of the course provide plenty of challenge despite the apparent shortness of the course. Don't be fooled. Combined with friendly, relaxed staff, you will certainly enjoy your round at Pine Hollow in Clayton, adjacent to the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina
