Take I-40 West to Durham Freeway (NC 147). Head North through downtown Durham to the Hillandale Rd. Exit, which is the same exit for Duke Hospital and the Veterans Administration. Turn right onto Hillandale Road and travel 1 mile to the entrance to the parking lot..

Take I-85/I-40 East, and continue in I-85 to Durham. Get off at exit #174 / Hillandale Rd. Turn right and travel 3/4 mile to the parking lot entrance.

Hillandale Golf Course is a public access facility located on Hillandale Road in Durham, North Carolina near the Duke University Campus. Easily accessible from Raleigh, Chapel Hill and the Research Triangle Park (RTP), the golf course was established in 1911 and offers something for every skill level, with four sets of tees ranging from 6,400 yards to 4,800 yards. It is an easy walking course, and its urban location makes it possible to play before and after work with little travel time.  The course hosts the Bull City Classic, the Durham Amateur, and the Herald-Sun tournaments annually for over 50 years.

The course is noted for its award-winning Pro Shop,  staffed with Class A PGA Professionals to provide instruction or assist with any golfing need. A recent addition to the services offered is Dave Bass, nationally renowned expert and winner of numerous PCS awards as an expert club fitter.

Hillandale, ranked as one of the "Top 100 Golf Shops in America" every year since 1988 (as determined by Golf Shop Operations Magazine), is a complete golf center with a professional practice range, expansive putting green, a 19th hole grill and a fully equipped pro shop featuring the latest equipment and apparel.
